In all the years I’ve spent journaling, writing, and reporting, I know the following to be true:
We all have stories, unique perspectives, and valuable wisdom.
These stories, perspectives, and wisdom are 100% worthy of sharing, no matter how basic or ordinary they seem to you.
Someone out there needs to hear what you have to say, in exactly the way you present it.
Your soul is able to speak to you through your writing. When you share that writing, you share the wisdom of your soul with others.
I have always wanted Soul Journaling Sessions to include more than just my perspectives or stories. When we find a safe space to share our wisdom and stories, we all benefit, and I hope Soul Journaling Sessions can be that place.
Collaboration Prompts
I would like to personally invite you to be a guest host on the Soul Journaling Sessions Podcast! Write an essay using one of the following three prompts:
Journaling and . . .
Journaling with . . .
Journaling for . . .
With these prompts, you have the opportunity to share with us:
Your particular area of interest or specialty
Something challenging you’re working through or thinking about
Something you’ve overcome
And much more
The possibilities are endless!
After sharing your story or wisdom, give us some journal prompts to go deeper and explore the big themes.

Episode Format
I recommend listening to an episode of the podcast (if you haven’t already) to get a sense of the format. But below is a rough outline:
Introduction: I will introduce you, what your piece is about, and how listeners/readers can connect with you
Reading: You’ll read your piece/submission
Journaling prep: A short meditation or breathing exercise to prepare for journaling and to welcome in any insights from the higher self/soul*
Journaling: The journal prompts
Each prompt is read twice, followed by two minutes of space with music, with a cue at 30 seconds to begin wrapping up
Close: I deliver a final thank you message to you for guest hosting and close out the episode
*Note: I find most people are more comfortable with me doing the meditation/breathing exercise and reading the journal prompts at the end, but if you would like to do this portion, you are welcome to, and I am happy to provide any support in the form of a script or template.
How it Works
To be a guest host of the podcast:
Fill out the form to submit your idea
Write your own essay/story
Come up with 3-4 journal prompts that help listeners and readers dive deeper into the themes of your piece
Record yourself reading your piece*
Send me the audio file (as well as the written text) for editing and posting
Share the podcast episode with your community once it is posted
