Hi Marcy,

I totally can relate. My son is 19 months and every time I thought we were in a good routine something switched and we were back 3 steps. It is difficult to navigate, but I am reassured by moms, like yourself, that change is inevitable and we just have to ride the waves of life. I have felt myself be the anchor I’ve always needed. I’ve learned to self-regulate better so I can be calm with my son and my husband. It’s not easy, it’s so challenging when I’m not running on very much sleep and I have to mom all day or go fly off for work. But it’s 100% worth it and I know my son is thriving. We’re all growing through this together, too. I leave a lot of your emails unread so that when I’m in the right headspace I can come back to them and reflect. I am currently on the beach in Kauai and have the space and time to reflect well on change. Thanks for this platform. I do enjoy your writing and your prompts. Thank you for always sharing so authentically. I resonate with it very much. If you have the time and space will you please pull a card for me? Thank you!

Hi Hillary! First, thanks so much for your kind words, and it is nice to hear when someone else can relate. Learning to self-regulate has been my biggest challenge as a mother thus far...the lack of sleep is what really triggers stuff for me. It is so hard, but as you said, it is worth it, even in those moments when all we can think about is "When will I sleep again?"

I pulled a card for you today from The Healing Waters Oracle by Rebecca Campbell (it's her newest deck and I love it). The card is "Bounteous: Generously given. Relationships. Coming together." This card reminds even me that we have supporters and friends on this journey--our partners, our families, other moms. We are so powerful when we come together and when we lift one another up. You are never in this alone, even when it feels like it on some days. This card encourages you to reach out, to share, to collaborate when you feel called. In the description of this card, Rebecca says, "Share what you love freely." This line stood out to me for you. It is a call to share more of your gifts and passions--with your family, with other moms, with your community. We all have something special flowing through us that is meant to be shared.

I hope this message resonates! And thanks so much for taking the time to come back and read/listen to my posts. Again, I feel so grateful that others can relate and enjoy taking them in.
