I attended a live call on somatic writing and it was so cool to learn how physically writing changes the neural pathways in your brain. I have kept a “Million little happies” book since Forryat was born and now I write one or two things every day and it has reprogrammed by brain. I am not always a happy person, but it does wonders to fend off depression.
Oh somatic writing sounds like something I would like! I'm going to look that up. And also, I really, really like the sound of a "Million little happies." Rather than a list of things to be thankful for, I can write down those things that made me happy or made me laugh with my kiddos. That sounds like so much more fun.
