What will you be growing this spring?
Your Journal Prompts This Week:
What creative projects do you feel stirring or rising within you? (This could be something new or something forgotten that wants to grab your attention again.)
What right now makes you feel so inspired that you can't wait to explore it further?
How can you make space for exploration of these ideas or concepts?
This evening (February 1) through tomorrow evening is Imbolc, which marks the halfway point between Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. This means the sun will be shining for us a little longer each day, and for those of you who live in states that have legitimate seasons, you're almost through the coldest stretch (hopefully)!
I have always been intrigued by these holidays that remind us of nature and the changing seasons. It's so easy to just flow through each one without stopping to acknowledge the beauty or significance of them in relation to our own lives. One of my clients, Cassie Uhl, shared this great blog post about Imbolc and how it corresponds to and honors the Goddess Brigid. I love that this relates to the womb space, pregnancy, and birthing. Having just had a baby, this speaks to me and reminds me of the surprising strength I had to get through that time. I realize now that there are really no limits to what I could (creatively) birth next!
I created a meditation to honor this time, as well as the journal prompts above. I'd love to hear what comes forth for you!
With much love and gratitude,
Marcy
