How do you go with the flow? 🌊
Your Journal Prompts This Week:
What does "going with the flow" look and feel like for me?
When in my life have I truly felt in flow? What are some commonalities between these times/situations?
What might a balance between structure and flow look like in my day-to-day life?
Yesterday was my birthday, and ever since I got into Astrology, the date and time of my birth has taken on much more meaning to me. I am happy to be a Pisces, and one of my newer traditions is to listen to George Harrison's "Pisces Fish" on my birthday (George is a fellow Pisces). Whenever I think of my astrology sign, I always hear the chorus of George's song:Â "I'm a pisces fish and the river runs through my soul."
Pisces season for me is about flow: flowing through life, flowing toward our dreams, and flowing with and through our emotions. So as we wrap up the final days of Pisces season, I encourage you to explore what flow looks like in your life. Consider the mental and the physical.
In Vinyasa yoga, we get into a flow with our bodies, and I believe that the physical feeling of flow helps us gain flow elsewhere in our lives. This is why I was so drawn to yoga. So if you have trouble seeing flow or creating flow in your life, maybe try experiencing it in your body first. Then see if you experience similar feelings elsewhere in your life, perhaps with your creative work. How is it similar or different to what you feel when your body is in a physical flow?
Please enjoy exploring your flow! And I leave you with one last set of lyrics from George's song:
With much love & gratitude,
Marcy
