Moving from the Heart
Look for the Loving Energy
Your Journal Prompts This Week:
What does the energy of love look and feel like to me?
How do I know when someone is acting from the energy of love?
Where in my life does the energy of love move freely through me?
Happy Valentine's Day, friends!
I know it is likely the end of your Valentine's Day by the time this email reaches you, but these are journal prompts you can do anytime. They are inspired by both Valentine's Day and my observations of Olympic figure skating over the past few days. Yes, I know that seems pretty random, but I am going somewhere with this.
As a kid, I used to figure skate, and during every Winter Olympics, I am reminded of how beautiful and graceful the sport is. And of course, every skater has their own unique and inspiring story that makes you wish they could all win gold medals! One thing I noticed is that when they are interviewed, almost all of them say they are just focused on having fun. It seems like a convenient answer, but then when you watch them skate, you can actually see it. I am struck by how so many of them, whether they make it on the podium or not, seem to truly be moving from their hearts.
I think all of us have something in our lives where we move purely from the heart. It might not be as obvious in physical form, but it is nonetheless beautiful. So while today of course is about showing our love for others and showing love for ourselves, I want to encourage you to think more about the energy of love and where it exists in your life. Where do you see those beautiful, flowing (perhaps even graceful) moments?
Wherever you find it...do more of that thing. Connect with more of that energy. Make that be your Valentine's Day present to yourself.
With much love & gratitude,
Marcy
