When you look back, look for the Love ❤️
Where do you see love?
Your Journal Prompts for This Week:
How did I cultivate love this year? (For myself and others)
What did love (given or received) bring, teach, or show to me?
How can I continue to express love in my life?
As we enter the final weeks of the year, many of us are entering a period of reflection. Sometimes this comes naturally, and sometimes we fall into this mode because it is what everyone is marketing to us right now. Often, we focus more on what we accomplished or didn't accomplish, and what we want to wrap up by the end of the year.
I can say for myself that this year has brought a lot of ups and downs, with some really high highs and some very low lows. But as I look back, there is one common thread running underneath it all: love. I loved both what I received this year AND what I lost. And in those moments of loss, love was also there as my support system: I filled what I lost with love for myself, while also allowing myself to receive love and support from those around me.
Giving or receiving love for myself or for another was part of each action I took, each moment of celebration, and each moment of challenge.
So rather than look at what you did or didn't do, what you want to celebrate versus what you want to work on, I invite you to look for the love. Where and how did love show up for you in the last year, during both your highest of highs and lowest of lows? When and how did you show love to yourself or to others?
For my fellow creators out there, I also encourage you to look at how love has shown up in your creations this year, whether it was in the content you created for your business or in the art that you shared with the world.
As always, feel free to share any insights you gain from your journaling with me, I love to hear them! I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season.
With much love & gratitude,
Marcy
